Howdy partner! My name is Wyatt and I’m looking for my forever home. Will you help me out? I’m available for adoption at the Wenatchee Humane Society.
I may be young (two years old), but I’m very mature for my age as I tackle puzzles and mind games. In fact, I will make sure to rest my paw on your arm to gain your attention as I wait my turn. I tend to go with the flow in my very gentle manner, but can also be very spontaneous.
I was enrolled in a behavior program where I learned for 10 months to socialize properly and now I can say with great confidence that I love meeting new people. I also enjoy laying out in the sun, enjoying the warmth and breeze, having snacks and getting my daily walks. People say I’m smart, but I’m most proud that I’m also very loyal.
The Type of Home I’m Looking For
- I’d like a home with children over over the age of 15
- No other dogs or cats in the home, please
- I would love to be with people who are patient, understanding and have time to work with me
#WhynotMEpets is a statewide campaign that gives cats and dogs needing more care and attention a greater chance of finding a home as quickly as possible. Its mission focuses on animals that have been homeless for two months or longer; are elderly; have behavior or medical needs; aren’t thriving in the shelter environment; or make up a large percentage of the shelter population, such as bully breeds. These are the animals asking “Why not me?” To learn more, visit pawsitivealliance.org/whynotmepets.
